台灣即興薩克斯風手Xiao Liu 與旅居荷蘭的韓國噪音樂手sitb Q的跨海合作！A面由他們帶來各自的獨奏，小劉他自成一格的演奏手法在專輯同名曲"Parathion"中嶄露無遺，而sitb Q則使用了不同於過去激進的中高頻噪音音牆(Harsh Noise Wall)手法，曲目"Pro Malfuntion"中聽到的像是撥接數據機般間歇性的斷片雜訊；而B面則是他們今年年初參與Outer Pulsation #9在客家公園地下道的雙人即興現場錄音，sitb Q猛烈而暴力的噪音在Xiao Liu 的薩克斯風催化下完全昇華到了另一個層次，拳拳痛擊聽眾的耳膜。

關於專輯名稱:
巴拉松（Parathion），有些地方會稱為 Folidol，是磷酸酯殺蟲劑及殺蟎劑，最早是由法本公司在1940年代開發，巴拉松對於非目標生物（包括人在內）具有高度毒性，因此大部份的國家都已禁用或限制使用。

在台灣，因取得便利，飲用巴拉松長久以來為被視為流行於勞工階級的自殺手法，但死亡過程極其痛苦，且生還機率微乎其微，已於2019年起禁止生產及使用。

A split/collab work of Taiwanese free improv saxophone player Xiao Liu and Korean harsh noise performer sitb Q.
Side A is their solo tracks. In Xiao Liu's track, he fully implement his unique style and aesthetics. The second track, "Pro Malfuntion" is not like other HNW works of sitb Q but more like a modem gone berserk with distortion and overdrive pedals which full of analog texture and satisfactory.
B side is the live recording track of their duo session at an underpass in Taipei. As Harsh As Possible.

About the Album Title:

Parathion, also called parathion-ethyl or diethyl parathion and locally known as "Folidol", is an organophosphate insecticide and acaricide. It was originally developed by IG Farben in the 1940s. It is highly toxic to non-target organisms, including humans, so its use has been banned or restricted in most countries. In Taiwan, drinking parathion used to be a common way to commits suicide for working class people beacuse it was accessible and it had no chance to survive. Until 2019, Taiwanese goverment banned Parathion from the market.
